Last Saturday we braved the heat and hosted a stand for Salisbury Foodbank at the Carnival in Amesbury.
With items to sell from our up cycling department and volunteer handy work, to games for the kids and lots of free prizes, it wasn’t long before people flocked to our stall! We even had queues for ‘Splat the Rat’ and people were generally interested in the work we are doing in the area and took lots of literature away.
It was a great opportunity to engage with the Community and raise awareness for the support we offer both at the Foodbank and though our ‘more Than Food’ projects.
Great fun and well worth it!
