At the end of last year I was contacted by the Friends of Chafyn Grove who informed me they had chosen SALISBURY FOODBANK as their charity partner for their summer ball.
What’s NOT to like.. Drinks on the lawn, meal, charity auction. Time is fast approaching for me to to dust off the posh frock ( check it if fits) , put on my dancing shoes and get ready to dance the night away with the Deloreans.
Now, this all might seem a far cry from a day in the life of a foodbank manager. But its a great opportunity for us as a small charity to raise money, network and make new connection while having a good time. What’s even better is I was given a free ticket!
