Chas Kimber | Chair of Trustees & Treasurer |
Chas has lived and worked in or around Salisbury all his life and has recently taken over as Chair having been involved with Salisbury Foodbank since it became a stand-alone charity, initially as part of the Community Money Advice Team, and now as admin/warehouse helper and Trustee. | |
Peter Horwood | |
After a long career working in the London Advertising and Promotion industry Peter retired to Salisbury and immediately became involved in an increasing number of community groups. First to contact was The Trussell Trust, whose activities were well known and admired. To date Peter has spent seven years working both in the foodbank warehouse and front line in the Salisbury foodbank centre, meeting, greeting and offering help and encouragement to those in need. Filled with a burning sense of the need for Social Justice, Peter is fully committed to helping people in difficulty and, in the longer term, creating change that will remove the need for foodbanks. |

Janet Abbott | |
Janet Abbott lives in Salisbury. She works for the charity Hope and Homes for Children having previously worked for Tearfund in the UK, West Africa and Haiti in humanitarian response, church engagement and fundraising. Janet and her husband Phil attend St Paul’s Church where they’re involved in the worship team. They have one daughter. Janet has volunteered at Salisbury Foodbank and Wandsworth Foodbank. | |
Jo King | |
Jo King has lived in Salisbury for nearly forty years having moved from London with her husband John. Jo has two children and two grandchildren. With a background of local government, Jo began work with Alabaré Christian Care and Support 14 years ago. Jo’s interests outside of work are reading, music and trying to keep fit!! Jo and her husband attend St Mark’s Church in Salisbury where she leads the worship group and is Churchwarden. Jo is passionate about many things including those who need support and is very honoured to have been asked to become a Trustee of the Salisbury Food Bank. |

Michael Neve | |
Michael has been connected to Salisbury for over thirty years and is a Financial Adviser. He is married with two grown up children and is a youth leader at St Francis Church. He is a keen cyclist and runner and a volunteer blood bike for SERV Wessex delivering for the NHS out of hours. He has a passion for both live and recorded music and generally any live entertainment. |

Jacqui Cheetham | |
After a 20 year career as a German and French teacher in Oxford, I moved to Salisbury in 2018 to get married. I am still teaching part-time and am also training to be a counsellor. We are involved with St Francis Church.

Janet has lived in Salisbury for over 20 years. She is married with two teenage daughters and is an active member of St Francis Church. After a career as a defence scientist/ engineer/ project manager, she now runs a small family software company. | |
