Our foodbank staff and volunteers have worked exceptionally hard throughout 2023 and more so in the run upto Christmas.
We have worked with multiple agencies to ensure the most vulnerable people in our community are supported over our Christmas closures. Supporting over 1100 people with our Christmas hampers project, which will mostly be delivered by A world of furniture before Christmas. An additional 111 Central Fruits fresh veg box deliveries will be made to nominated families and we have supported over 90 children with Christmas gifts at a Christmas party earlier this week. We are ready for a Christmas break.
Please be aware most of our operations will close between Christmas and the new year.
There is provision for emergencies direct from our foodbank warehouse on 27th, 28th & 29th December. Between 12 – 2pm only.
