Salisbury Motorcycle & Light Car Club 40th Anniversary Event

Salisbury Motorcycle & Light Car Club have their annual charity Mavro motorcycle run in remembrance of of Michel Noël (George) Mavrogordato (1903 – 1984). He led a very eventful life as an early aviator, TT racer and Salisbury motorcycle shop owner. This year it is the 40th Anniversary of the run and starts at 11am on Sunday 21st September at The Barford Inn , Barford St Martin with signing on from 10am. The route is fully marked and run through scenic Wilts & Dorset country roads & returning to the pub for lunch. Coffee and bacon butties available before run, and a good lunch can be booked in advance. £10 entry fee, £8 of each entry will be donated to SALISBURY FOODBANK.
